To earn the distinction “reposado,” tequilas must be aged for a minimum of two months, and most reposado tequilas are aged for only that long. However, Avión Reposado Tequila is aged for six months (three times the requirement), and as a result has a light amber color along with an aroma of fire-roasted agave and rosemary. On the palate, oak emerges, along with sweet fruits such as nectarines, cherries, and pears, and the finish is marked by citrus, honey, and more floral notes.
